My work is inspired by the profound emotional connection I feel with landscapes, particularly those of North Cornwall, coastlines and more recently, the rich and varied terrain of the Spanish landscape. Through mixed media and printmaking, I explore the dialogue between the external world and my internal response to it.

In my abstract landscapes, I seek to capture not just the surface, but the layers of history, memory, and resonance that lie beneath. There is an ongoing conversation between accident and design, where I allow the materials to guide me as much as I direct them, creating a dynamic interplay between intention and spontaneity.

I am drawn to the ancient, to landscapes imbued with the echoes of the past, and I aim to embody that sense of time and presence in my work. Each piece is an exploration of self in relation to the environment, a meditation on how the land shapes us, and how we, in turn, respond
